PINK SATURDAY GREETINGS!

Another week and another Pink Saturday!

I was away last Saturday and had my Pink Saturday post done in advance and scheduled to appear automatically on April 11th. Then for some reason I was unable to reply to Beverly's weekly E-mail from my son's computer. When I'd try the E-mail would bounce back. I couldn't even contact her through the E-mail link on her blog. I have a feeling it had something to do with being signed on to AOL from their home screen and my son's Windows Vista. I never have trouble from here. So, my Pink Saturday post was up, but wasn't on the list. If you'd like to see last week's post just scroll down below this one.

For this week I thought I'd show you my pink piggy bank. It sits on a shelf in the kitchen...

And then I thought I'd show you some pink in my backyard...

And some pink that I saw along the side of the road on my ride home from Austin last week...

You have to look closely, but there are a few pink wild flowers in there.

For information on Pink Saturday and a list of this week's participants head over to Beverly's blog by clicking on the Pink Saturday logo on my sidebar. Thanks Beverly!

  1. Beautiful pinks for today and a really great bank! Your yard is absolutely lovely. Gosh, I've never seen bronzed baby shoes...ever! And, yes, it is so sad that they weren't kept. I don't know why the things of the past aren't valued by some of today's family members...sigh.

  6. Betty, that piggy bank is perfect! Does your hubby notice the difference in sizes? Tee...hee...I love the flowers too. My allergies are absolutely crazy this year, as everything is blooming all at one time, but I'm still enjoying all the wonderful blooms! Happy pinky day!

  11. Thank you for stopping by for my first Pink Saturday. I loved your piggy bank. We are redoing our bedroom and I just put my clothes back in the closet and the space left for hubby's clothes resembles the two piggy system. I also loved the pink girly RV, that is so cute.

  21. Yes, my parents live in Georgetown (Sun City) and they got a bunch of rain too. You needed it though, right? Well, maybe not that much all at one time.

    Happy Pink Saturday!

  22. Love the piggys. And the wildflowers are lovely. We don't see that down here in in Fla. too much on the roadside.

    Happy PS

  25. Betty, what a lovely yard you have. I'd be out there every day and night. I live in San Antonio and I wish we had sightings of more wildflowers here. I wanted to find a road that had bluebonnets as far as the eye could see but alas, either we were driving to fast to notice the scenery or we didn't go down a road that had fields of bluebonnets...I'm so disappointed!

I'm so glad that you had those photos on your current post.
