Today we are studying the letter "L" for Alphabe-Thursday sponsored by Ms. Jenny over at Jenny Matlock..."off on my tangent." In our house "L" stands for LASAGNA!
My son makes a delicious lasagna and he graciously agreed to help me out this week by preparing the dish yesterday so I could take pictures. Everyone in our family loves this lasagna. He found the recipe on allrecipes.com and it's appropriately named World's Best Lasagna.
It takes a bit of time to prepare, but it's well worth the effort.
Reid even agreed to pose with the masterpiece.
And here's a close up.
The recipe got very good reviews on the allrecipe.com site. Rather than typing out the whole recipe I'll let you go here where you can easily print it out.
Now head over to Ms. Jenny's site for a list of this week's participants and more "L" posts.
I give up. Everytime I do a preview there are huge spaces between some of the pictures. I did not put them in there and they don't appear on the compose screen. Hopefully, when I publish this they'll be gone.

ReplyDeleteI love lasagna! I hardly ever make it because we end up eating way too much! I have no self control! I know I should just freeze half immediately to keep from tempting myself, but I don't!

Hi Betty!
ReplyDeleteHi Reid!
Reid's lasagna looks like a materpiece and I'm sure it tastes and good as it looks. Thansk so much for making it as a luscious example for "L"!
OMG that looks fabulous! I love a good lasagna and have been trying to find a recipe that I want to use over and over, I'll have to try this one out!
ReplyDeleteThe lasagna and Reid look great!!! I love to look at the recipes on allrecipes....can't say I do much cooking anymore, but I can dream by looking at the pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy son used to make a great lasagna. Now I mainly cheat and buy a frozen one and pop it in the oven. I'm sure they don't taste as good as Reid's!
ReplyDeleteHello Betty.
ReplyDeleteI tip my hat to any man who can cook...I cannot, but I love to eat (smile). My wife and I both love lasagna, but she doesn't eat beef, so she makes it from scratch with a mixture of turkey & chicken breasts. All I know is that it's delicious and I always have a second helping.
Wonderful photos & nice post for this week's "L".
Thanks for sharing & visiting. I'm off to indulge in a box or two of Godiva (LOL).
Love Has Seeped Into My Heart
