First things first! I have NEVER set up word verification for my blog. However, a friend told me that my blog was asking for word verification. This happened once before and in the past I was able to fix it by just re-saving the settings once again. However, this time it doesn't help. Even though it says NO for word verification in my settings it still asks for word verification for comments. At this point I am very frustrated. I've done everything I can think of to do. I changed it to YES and saved it and then went back to NO and saved it. Didn't help. I've shut down my computer and tried saving NO again. Didn't help. I've saved that darn NO over and over again. If anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this I'd love to hear from you because at this time word verification still appears. Needless to say...I've spent considerable time trying to fix this and I'm very frustrated.
Now on to the show! It's time again for Alphabe-Thursday sponsored by Ms. Jenny at Jenny Matlock..."off on my tangent."
This week we are studying the letter "D" as in Proud Houston DAD.
Yes, I'm a Houston Texans football fan. Houston Texans Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had just completed the best game of his career when he met with the press. However, he was one proud DAD when he introduced his son. (Ryan Fitzpatrick graduated from Harvard and I have a feeling his son is probably headed there too.)
Ignore the ignorant people that left ignorant comments on You Tube. Unfortunately, these people exist in this world and have nothing better to do.
Now head over to Ms. Jenny's blog for a list of this week's participants.
Thank you for visiting and I'm really, really sorry about the word verification.
UPDATE: I've been visiting blogs and finding quite a few with word verification. You might want to check your own blogs because it could be appearing and you don't know it.
Hi Betty, what this blogger and google are up to is beyond me! LOL! would you private message me at my e mail to get your address. I lost in my house somewhere my label list and my notebook filled with address. Trying to recreate it all. Hugs, Anne
The word verification is appearing everywhere -- but you can just ignore it and not enter anything in. Goes right to the comment posting as usual. Some glitch or other.
Betty, he's a proud Dad for sure. And good for a "D" word too. We like him just fine but for a while it seemed that he had to go. Better now, we won't know why. ..
Unfortunately, many of us have the same problem with a verification appearing, Betty. Apparently Google did something globally...a fix that became a glitch...it looks like to me! Great "D" word!!!...:)JP
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little world and leave a comment. I appreciate hearing from you.
I do not receive all comments by E-mail and I'm not exactly sure why. I do try and remember to check the actual blog so I won't miss any of your comments.
I do not belong to Google+ and regret that I am unable to leave comments on Google+ blogs.
WORD VERIFICATION: I have NOT set up word verification for comments. However, every so often it appears on my blog even though I have chosen NO in the settings. Please let me know if you encounter word verification when leaving a comment so I can try and fix it. Thanks.
I have chosen to follow blogs anonymously so there is no obligation on your part to follow my blog. I follow blogs that I truly enjoy reading and not because it's expected.

ReplyDeleteIt's a blogger glitch. You don't have to enter the code to get the comment to go through.
