MY FURRY FRIEND FOR WARM HEART WEDNESDAY #15

It's time once again to share something that warms our hearts for Warm Heart Wednesday sponsored by Ms. Jenny at Jenny Matlock..."off on my tangent."

My poor little Chloe.  She had some dental work done today.  Normally she's a very hyper little dog, but not today.
She just wants to be left alone to rest.  We picked her up at 4:30 and she's been resting in her cage ever since.  We feed her in the cage so she can't steal the cats' food, but she didn't eat and wasn't interested in coming out.  So, we're just leaving her alone.  She's had her pain meds and hopefully she'll be her active old self tomorrow.

While she was there they must have cleaned her eyes and ears because they were wet.  You can see it in this picture.  Poor baby.  She just looks kind of sad.  Whenever I look into those big brown eyes it warms my heart.

While Chloe was gone today I played with my dolls.  As you know, that's always a heart warmer for me.

Over the weekend I set up a Saturday Morning breakfast scene with two new reproduction Vogue Ginny dolls.  These poor dolls were AOL for a while until my mailman tracked them down.  I think they must have been sitting in the wrong mailbox.
The doll on the right is wearing a pair of blue checked pajamas that I've had since childhood.  I found the matching pink checked pajamas on eBay.

Today we played clean up.

Now please head over to Jenny's blog for a list of this week's Warm Heart Wednesday participants.

Thanks for visiting...

  1. Oh my goodness I am glad you found your new babies! And you still had the pj's? And found another to match. Clean up day - that is what I need to do. And poor Chloe = I hope she is okay today!

  2. Hi Betty ~~ I say "poor baby" also. She does look sad, like wonders why you would take her for nasty business like that. Do you think those are tears she has, at least from her eyes? Has she recovered? Forgiven you?
Riddle: The man locked his dog and his wife in the car's trunk and went for a ride. When he came home, only one of the two were happy to see him when he opened the trunk?

  5. Hope your Chloe is feeling better today. I like being left alone, too, when I'm not feeling well. The dolls look like they're having a lot of fun.

  6. Hi Betty, next time you want to participate in Feline Friday or even Aw...Monday visit Sandee at ComedyPlus.blogspot.com/ She is wonderful and will always help you. I think Steve has the wrong linking tool up at his page. But Sandee always shows the link up and you can join in. Oh, poor Chloe. It is hard to see those furry family members not feeling well. I hope she is better tomorrow. FB is a real pain and than my kids got me involved in Instragram. I need to learn to navigate it better. Some sick individuals everywhere you go. I hope you will always send hand written cards. I got involved in the group with Pamela at FB, her blog is ourshelteringtree.blogspot.com/ I love sending these cards and letters of encouragement. I will try to email you so I do not use up all your comment space. I love your dolls, they are so sweet. I have lots of Barbie furniture and love playing too. We are just a couple of kids Betty. Hugs to you. Anne

  8. Hi Betty!

It was so good to hear from you! How are you and Reid?

I do miss NYC at times, but because my children and grandchildren are here in CO and keep us very busy I'm very happy here. We love the scenery in Colorado and we enjoy doing new things here so its all good.
I do get back to NY at least once a year to visit family and friends and will be back in early summer. I still ahve not blogged about all the things we did in NYC last trip! :)

Your dolls are so darling. I have two granddaughters now and I enjoy playing with them. I hope your dog is feeling good now and back to his normal self. He's very cute!
