Can you help? It will only take a few minutes. Tragedy struck the Berry family of Houston, Texas this past summer. While returning to Houston from a vacation in Colorado another vehicle veered into their lane and hit the Berry mini van head-on. Josh Berry, 41, and Robin Berry, 40, died and their three young children were injured. Peter, 9, and Aaron, 8, both suffered spinal cord injuries. Their sister Willa, 6, was less severely injured.
The children are now living with their uncle and his wife. Their babysitter and family friend Tessa Gerral has put her life on hold to stay with the children and help support their physical and emotional needs. She has been nominated for a Jewish Community Heroes Award, but first she must garner enough votes to move onto the next level.
You can read about Tessa Gerral and vote for her here. You'll be able to vote once every 24 hours until November 10th.
I try and vote every day and it only takes a few seconds. Just bookmark the page and you'll be able to return daily.
Thanks for your vote.
