You'll find today's Pink Saturday post below. I'm just hoping someone can give me a hand today. I notice that some people seem to read just about every Pink Saturday post and I'm hoping someone has a tip on how they travel from blog to blog quickly.
This morning I tried going to Beverly's blog and clicking on one of the links. Then after posting my comment I tried backing up into Beverly's blog again, but I kept getting a message that prevented me from returning to her blog. In past weeks I've copied and pasted all of the blog links into a Word Document and then started working off the list. That takes time since Internet Explorer has to come up each time.
I can't help but think that there must be a better way to do it. Something probably so simple that I'm missing it. How do you go about reading all the Pink Saturday posts? Any advice or tips for me today? Thanks.

I do not receive all comments by E-mail and I'm not exactly sure why. I do try and remember to check the actual blog so I won't miss any of your comments.
I do not belong to Google+ and regret that I am unable to leave comments on Google+ blogs.
WORD VERIFICATION: I have NOT set up word verification for comments. However, every so often it appears on my blog even though I have chosen NO in the settings. Please let me know if you encounter word verification when leaving a comment so I can try and fix it. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteWe always use the left click, so when you click the left button of your mouse, it takes you to a new page. To retain Beverly's page, do a right click on the name/webpage you want to go and it gives you the option of "open in new window" or "open in new tab". Click on "open in new tab" and the page will open beside the previous page, in this case, just beside Bev's page.

Take your time and don't worry about it. But I am curious, what is your browser? Maybe you need to download a different browser. For instance, I have Firefox and Safari ( I have a Mac). Lately, Firefox won't let me comment on Typepad blogs. So I now do all my Pink Saturday commenting on Safari.

If you're viewing them from the linking list try right clicking each link. It will bring it up in a new window. When you close each one the Pink Saturday blog will still be right there. Hope this helps :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard - I have never managed everyone on the list yet! What I do is this: go to my own blog and visit everyone who has visited me first - then work my way through as many as possible on Beverly's blog. One week I work down from the top, another I will work up from the bottom. This week for a change, I started in the middle. This way I hope I get to everyone eventually.
ReplyDeleteOn Beverly's blog, I hold down the CTRL button and then click on a link, which opens it up into a new page/tab (in fact, I click on 3 or 4 at a time) and close each page when I have left a comment. The last one I clicked on is highlighted on Beverly's page, so I can see where I got to. I also tackle in groups of 10 (as she lists them) and finish that group before I step away from the computer. So at least I know I got that section finished.
Hope this helps a little. I certainly wouldn't want to work off a Word list!
